Pinjarrah Park was founded in the late 1850s by Captain Theodore Fawcett and the remaining farmland (600 acres )held in the family until recently acquired by John ,Eileen and Elizabeth Moore extensive upgrading was conducted with extensive new fencing ,water supplies and soil improvements .More recently a major upgrade to an existing caravan park now called PINJARRAH HOLIDAY PARK focusing on short stay and tourism as it provides a excellent base for the Peel region and Metropolitan Perth linked by both Road and Rail .The property is a working farm and guests are welcome to observe all activities we carry 100 breeding cows which are predominantly Murray greys crossing them with Charolais bulls we like to call them Char-greys .We cut /rake and bale our own fodder hay is cut in November each year usually about 700 rolls this is then fed to the stock in the late summer .Eileen and Elizabeth also have a passion for horses we compete throughout Australia in Three Day eventing which includes the disciplines of dressage ,showjumping and cross country the stud is known as Leedale Lodge and offer three stallions with stock available .Another activity is that John is a registered builder specializing in the commercial sector as Moore Constructions.(www.mooreconstructions.com.au)
PINJARRAH HOLIDAY PARK offer shady or open sites for groups or individually ,activities can be conducted on the river winter/spring with swimming in summer we are a freshwater river above Pinjarra we are not boat accessible
